Then I typed random numbers in the MSL box, and after it said invalid code, I retyped getprop ril.MSL and this time it showed my MSL code. You might have to do this a few times before it works.
Is there a way to unlock a Boost phone?
The only way to unlock it is to request a domestic SIM unlock and/or request the associated MSL Code by contacting Boost Mobile Customer Care at 1-833-50-BOOST (833-502-6678). FREE
But for this to work, you need to be eligible. The following are the criteria :
-The device is a SIM lock
-The device has not been lost or stolen.
-The device has been active for 12 months.
-The associated account is active and in good standing.
